Supporter's Series - What can I say? What can I do? What about at work?

CAD 45.00

Most of us don’t know enough about grief to be able to support someone in a meaningful way.

We struggle with what to say beyond the clichés and platitudes that no longer feel comfortable. We offer to help, but not in a way grievers can access. In the workplace, it’s even more awkward and we tend to over or under acknowledge the loss and then provide no practical support.

We can change all of that. In this interactive workshop, you’ll gain a basic understanding of grief, it’s symptoms and real timeline. On that foundation, we’ll dig deeply into your personal response plan — what can you say and do that provides support and witnessing in a way that feels doable and compassionate. Then we’ll move to work where, regardless of your official role, you can be a leader in this area and make a real difference for both grievers and the organization.

Available as a half day intensive or as three one hour sessions over three weeks, this series will help you respond to grief in a new way. One that feels meaningful and deeply helpful.
